Does anyone know what type of resin Phoenix uses to build their Poke Boat. I can’t get a straight answer out of them. I have lots of Poly and Vinyl ester resin, but I can’t confirm if in fact they use Epoxy (can’t use an ester resin on Epoxy). HELP!

They use vinyl ester. But you’re better
off using West or another high quality epoxy. I have a Phoenix, and epoxy repairs have held up perfectly. I’ve used vinylester to repair other boats, and those patches were pretty good, but epoxy just sticks better.
