I’m looking to do a trip on the Black River.



I’m particularly interested in visiting the “Three Sisters” area with the circa 2,000 year old Bald Cypress trees.



I would like to camp on the river, but am certainly open to hauling out, and staying at a campground if that’s not feasible.



I have the “Paddling Eastern North Carolina” guide book.



I’m going with a group of 3 or 4, and can make this a two day or four day trip as needed.



Any tips or advice from someone who’s been on this river?

Where are you putting in at? Black river has a few dams and lakes up north around Angier. If you could fill me in on your location I could be sore more help.
