I have an older Bluewater Kevelar canoe. everytime we carry it the white paint seems to transfer to our clothes. would anyone know why it would do this?

Oxidation of gelcoat or paint.

Ok, thanks, i was thinking it probably needs to be re painted/gel coat, its due for some patches this winter anyways.

Compound and wax it

I agree. A good was like Meguiers Marine and some elbow grease might do it.

Star Bright Cleaner/Wax.
