Has any one here camped on Cape Sable since Hurricane Irma and can tell me about the conditions of the entrances to Lake Ingraham, ( From East Cape, and From Middle Cape Canal)

Have you called the marina or the Flamingo Rangers?
They may have heard from fishermen or paddlers
Were on the other end pondering our way out the Blackwater so have no idea

Yes, I e-mailed the ranger station the same time I posted here and gt an answer right back, (thank you Everglades NP Flamingo ranger)
They are both still open, but the lake is very shallow at low tide and the fishermen have to come in the narrow opening at full plane to keep their motors from scraping bottom and they won’t slow down for kayakers. that is fine with me, since there is very little wake when they are at plane, and a large wake when they slow down
