Jack, I’ve been biking with some kin of yours… maybe a twin separated at birth? A half-brother? He’s 82 and it’s all I can do to hang on to his wheel. An inspiration for sure.

No, it isn’t. The county is saving money and they just pave the portions of the roads that are in need.
Most of our roads look like patch work quilts.
I liked our road 30 years ago when it was a one lane gravel with pull outs for passing

I grew up on a sand road. We kids were not happy when it was paved. It had great sand puddles after a rain and they were frequent.
