Myrtle Beach in June

Planning on goint to Myrtle Beach in the end of June. I plan on bringing a kayak or two if there is anywhere to use them? Any input would be great. Fishing or just paddeling.

Variety abounds
with open salt water and mild surf and tide swings to 6 or so feet, salt marshes and the ICW on the Waccamaw merging with Pee Dee and Sampit rivers in Georgetown.

Red fish and speckled trout fishing
In the marshes.

Waccamaw & Little Pee Dee & Lumber
All are fairly close. From Conway and upstream the Waccamaw is a small narrow river, plenty of public ramps. Little Pee Dee river - the river near Little Pee Dee State Park is also small and narrow. Lumber river from Fair Bluff to Nichols is also a nice paddle.

2nd the Waccamaw. It runs right behind

the beach and if you go just past North Myrtle Beach, it is a beautiful, narrow stream. Like Andy said, you are surrounded by water.
One of my favorite paddles is about an hour south. It is from Morris landing to Bull Island and back. You need to play the tides to do it comfortably, but Bull Island is a pristine barrier Island with no development except one building.A great place to explore.
