They are a pretty scarce commodity in TX, but I am itching to try out a solo outrigger canoe. Any idea how I can get hooked up with someone to demo one in Central Texas or the Gulf Coast?
try an outrigger club
try texas outrigger clubs. usually they have OC6 boats as club boats but the ones here in seattle have singles as well owned by members.

You might check the rivermiles forum. It’s mostly geared toward the MR340 and other long distance races around Missouri but there are a lot of Texas folk on there I believe.

There are at least a couple of six-man or larger outrigger canoes that regularly paddle up and down Lady Bird Lake in Austin. I’ll ask them.
