Hi Andy/ That is a nice looking Pintail from what I can see of it near the cockpit. What condition is the hull in? Does it have any spider cracking in the gel coat? Any deep gouges in the hull? Does the skeg operate easily? Do the hatches leak? Thanks, Scott in CT.

Scott, thanks for your note. Hull is fairly free of all but very superficial scratches. Only visible spider crack is tiny one behind cockpit coaming. Skeg operates well for rope lift mechanism. I have found the bungee from West Marine to give it good action down. Also has two pulleys to ease friction. My size 14 flippers are just too much for under deck comfort beyond an hour or so of paddling. Andy in Beaufort SC.

Looks like a nice kayak. I suggest you add some information your your ad since it's an old boat and it's rare. Weight, dimensions of the entire kayak and those of the cockpit, how deep, what is the layup, has it ever been repaired, stored inside or out, size person it was designed for, etc? The more information you can give the more interested people will be. Otherwise they just pass right over it.

Thanks for those wonderful suggestions. I was relying on folks being familiar with what I consider an iconic hull. Will enhance ad with further details.
