Well don’t know that much about the lake. We were launch at the State Park campgorund boat ramp and paddled straight out. We didn’t , on that trip, get into the upper reaches of the lake…it is bigger than it looks.

In North Carolina there is a Bald Cypress in the 3 Sisters area of the Black River over 2,500 years old.
