Going to mount the 58" bars & get a 3 in 1 to go along with 1 of the J-style racks.
Confusing point- wheelbase refers to the distance between front & rear wheels. I assume everyone here is referring to the bars not being wider than wheel width… They aren’t. Subaru width is 70.7" overall. Sure the 58" bars will be wider than the roof at door height by a few inches, but that’s a risk I’m willing to take. Kids are too short to hit their heads & us parents have hard noggins.
