Let me explain the differences in wax verse polish
related to car finishes.A wax is intended to remove stains,scratches,whirl marks etc,it removes some of the finish when used sort of like a compound does just not to that extent.A polish is used to basically protect the finish and unless rubbed very hard shouldn’t remove any finish.I have used a product called duragloss made in burlington,nc for 22 years for clearcoat finishes and also use it on fiberglass,makes it very slick esp. on a bassboat hull.
