Red Rock’ Joe
has a bit of a rep for being quite outspoken regarding Souris River. He is close to the factory, and is I believe their biggest distributor in the US.
I believe his claims are teh result of seeing customers abuse other brands of canoes in the BWCA. It is possible that the flexible ribs in the SR canoes are more forgiving than the foam cores in the W’s and B’s.
