I have
bought 55 gallon drums (plastic), very much like those sold for camping/paddling elsewhere. I bought them to use as composting vessels so I can’t comment on how well they work for the above stated purpose. The transaction went smoothly and the price was right…all was well with the world until shipping came into play…a tad expensive.
Carbon Fiber Frame
I have a barrel(60 ltr) and harness I bought from Voyaguer years ago. I also go one that bulk vitamins came in (about 50 ltr),free. Harness was tough on the back though.
On Ebay I bought 2 Granite Gear Flatbed pack frames this year. One for $107 USD and one for $45 USD. They run about $300 each. We hope to take it to Algonquin next week. Feels great. Will know more after the trip.
