bats while paddling under the moon?

Not only good luck, but also good food
Here is a YouTube of New Guinea people hunting the largest bats in the world from CANOES and then eating them.

So, you batophiles, get with the ancient mojo and take hunting bows and cooking pots with you on your nocturnal excursions.

It’s fun to watch them
We see them many places we paddle. They won’t hurt you. Just ignore them. They know what they’re doing, and they won’t hit you. Enjoy their show – they’re pretty cool to watch.

yes, i like this
we all need to think more positive…me included. bat’s i love you!!!

Happens to me all the time…
Bats are common during my evening paddles. My theory is that they are not only going after insects, but possibly the spray (droplets) from my kayak paddle.

Bats
Bats might freak you out, but they’re relatively harmless. They will swoop near you, but I’ve never heard of a bat ever flying into someone and in all my years of dealing with bats, none have ever flown into me. Bats know exactly what they’re doing; they won’t touch you.
