Has anyone bought or paddled a Bell Alaskan? If so, how do you like it?

and not the Wildfire, more an update on the
Dagger Venture 17 I suppose.
Looks very interesting indeed. Not yet paddled it.
Would possibly be to big for my load requirements.

for a cliff jacobsen designed boat, I found it interesting that in the recent expedition profiled in canoe kayak he was paddling his old dagger.

the website has the yellowstone solo and wildlfire as having slightly different rocker. but i’ve always been under the impression that the ys solo is basically the wildfire’s royalex sister. BUT, i’ve found that you can’t really believe websites and company marketers. you would really need the conformation of david yost or maybe ted bell. call them after midnight on a weekend. maybe they’ll be all sauced up and will tell you the truth.
