Bell gunnel repair/price

2 hours?
no person can do this in 2 hours. Big (4000 sqft) shop, all the best machines, tons of room, and 100 clamps, and 25 years as a master cabinetmaker. 1 long day.

4 hours…

is what we bill out as the labor to do a typical full wood re rail of a composite canoe: Strip the hull, prep new rails, clamp (lots of custom made clamps), drill and screw, install decks (can take a while of carefull tweeking), sanding (80, 120,180 grit, oil, re install seats, thwarts, yoke, and carry handles, then oil 2-3 more times. Actually can take us longer, but you can't really charge someone for more than 4 hours...it would get really expensive (custom work aside). We have a full shop set up for this kind of work 24/7. No beer till it's done.

Happy paddlin'

“No beer till its done” ???
Wouldn’t this compromise your profit margin? Not to mention the quality of your workmanship! This concept is foreign to me.

Clarification…
No beer while working on another persons canoe. My canoe…Long Trail Ale.
