Canon
Well, not only does Canon make a good camera, they have been making excellent waterproof cases for their Cameras for years. Hopefully they will have great success at marrying the two.
The reason I chose not to wait/get the Canon is that it is quite a bit bulkier than the others (Fuji, Lumix, Olys, Pentax) it will not easily fit into a small pocket.
I’ve been thinking about the W60
10 mp water proof to 15 feet, does videos.
W60 disappointed
I tried a Pentax W60 last year, and wound up sending it back. I love my Pentax SLR’s, so I wanted to love this one. It claims 10 MP, but it might as well have been 2 MP - shots were very grainy. It could not handle back lighting at all. Overall, very disappointing. My old Olypus C750 at 4 MP beat the pants off it, so I’m still using that one in a dive housing. I hope the new Canon and Panasonic live up to expectations.
