Yes, and you can ride a cow
jn a steeplechase. The question is, why??
A ww kayak or a decked c-1 rolls easily, comes up with no water in it, and is ready to paddle immediately.
Even if you had a skirt that would keep water out of a recreational kayak, you won’t be properly controlled by seat, hip braces, thigh braces, and foot braces, and if you had to roll because of ocean waves or rapids, you will have come upright in a boat that is incompetent under the circumstances.
I have no idea why others are bothering to talk to you about this. You want to control a cow as if it were a Lipizan stallion.

Ha! Awesome.
It looked to me like you're lifting your head a little soon, but I'm pretty new to rolling so anything I say should be taken with a whole lot of salt.
That said, I learned the hard way to be careful of shoulder alignment when rolling a hard to roll boat. I was rolling a SOT and straining to get that last bit and had a dull ache in my shoulder for a few days afterwards. The trick I've been using is to always look towards your power blade, in this case your right blade.
pumpernickel
not everyone’s a rancher
So not everyone can afford your cow of choice.
I think you should freak out a few more times about it. Since everyone took notice the first three times.
yes
Head definitely came up too soon. Fortunately the fellow in the vid realized this and executed a quick brace to keep from falling back in.
Another issue is the setup. The front paddle blade never gets anywhere near to the surface of the water, resulting in a less than ideal body position and reduced support from the paddle. Now, it’s certainly possible to execute a good and successful roll without this, and indeed, there are times where you need to/want to roll fast. However, anytime I’m feeling less than 100% certain about my roll (tired, unfamiliar boat), I find it very helpful to take the extra .5-1 second to get into a good setup position.
Gosh, slushy, you’re right! Nobody ever
posted three times in a thread when I gently suggested where they could post for better results.
Hypocrite.
you’re not the forum administrator
You have some serious control issues pal. I hope I'm never on the same stretch of road at the same time as you are.
DINGDINGDING!
Best response yet.
again a boat that is partially swamped
Not trivializing it, but it is easier than rolling a boat like that (quite similar, BTW) with a skirt on.
Fun!
This paddling thing is supposed to be fun. If someone wants to roll a barge or ride a cow for fun; more power to 'em.
