Camo Yaks--Fish see color/patterns well?

Reefmonkey brings up a good point…
It’s not the bright colors of your boat, or the motion…it’s noise the fish are not used to hearing in their environment that spook them. I have drifted with the current (I fish mostly ledgey rivers) many times just to see what might be hanging close to a blow down, or an eddy. As long as you kept still, do NO paddling or shifting around in the boat…I would float right over fish and they never moved.

TO often we ‘anthropromorphise’ fish into having more brain power than they actually posses. Fish don’t know what a boat is. As long as it’s moving with the current and keeps on moving…they pay it no never mind.

Once you’re past the fish or have have drifted far enough away from them…cast back to them. Caught a lot of good fish that way.
