Willingness of Yakima bars to bend
may have saved us some car or bike damage when I drove partway into the carport, forgetting that a bike was still on the rack. The most-stressed Yakima bar bend down somewhat, but nothing else changed.
The Thule system looks great, if only there were a way to level the bars.
I am Amazed
At how many people feel that the ability take off their racks is important. I put mine on and they stay there year round in case I get an opportunity to paddling.
Besides it makes the car easier to spot in the parking lot.
