As long as you stick to vehicles that have the factory lateral racks (the ones that run the length of the car, not across) you can buy a set of Thule cross clamps that attach standard Thule crossbars to just about any of the factory rails. I have used the same set I have on 4 vehicles by now, two Volvos, a Hyundai and a Subaru.
