You could say that, one of several. He bought me out on my half of that canoe (I don’t have a garage). Have to admit, I miss having his pole barn loft for storing my fleet more than I miss him.
I gather my “replacement” (that I busted him with last winter) turns out not to be much thrilled with paddle sports. Tsk, tsk, too bad. So I suppose his kayaks and canoes will henceforth be gathering dust in that “divorce museum” of abandoned hobbies of ex-wives and girlfriends alongside the horse tack, telescopes, motorcycles, scuba gear, parachute, etc., that he adopted and subsequently abandoned during the tenures of my various predecessors.
I actually found double-paddling the funky Adventure 16 far less aggravating than any tandem kayak I’ve shared. And of course there were those groovy cup holders…
