Also, if it’s the Bill Vonnegut from the Neptune Rangers group, I can understand even more the irked tone that was expressed. A lot of flatwater paddlers will look at the type of “play venues” of the Neptune Rangers as “irresponsible.”
In a town of the blind, the heavily monocled one-eye person is the “king”, even though he is limited in his ability to fully perceive the full range of sights, hues and depths available to those with 20/20 vision living on the other side of the mountain.
