My take on the kayak title suggests:
“Don’t smell it, until it’s washed.”
Related story. I paddle SOT and had told my wife that it was possible to relieve oneself without leaving the boat because it has holes in the bottom.
Had been paddling and left my neoprene boots in the garage to dry. It didn’t stop raining for several days when she wanted to know what the horrible stench was. I tracked it to the boots.
She said that’s what happens when you pee in your boots!
More explanation was then needed.
I certainly learned how to deoderize and properly dry those boots.
I believe that the don’t wash thing is more about needless washing of the synthetic material to help with the synthetic fibers being found in all our waterways and even into the drinking water of major cities.
