Drysuit longevity

not sure

“I was not the original owner of this suit. A detail which may or may not be critical.”

Yeah, it could have been left in the trunk of a car and could be used a lot and still look new. When you buy something used it’s hard to know how many times its been used or how it was taken care of.

My Stahlquist G-Pod is holding up well. I’ve been using the same material with their dry pants for 3 years, about 50 uses, and it still looks new. My Palm dry top also looks new and is 3 years old. However, my Snapdragon spray skirt breathable tunnel fabric is delaminating, although it has been used more. My kokatat gortex shorty top has a lot of use after 3 years and is holding up but it gets a lot of wear and tear and is a lighter fabric.

Kokatat has a great reputation but I like my Stahlquist. Lifetime guarantee, very durable, and a good value.

Arms, less than dry
This ended with ringing water out of the liner I had on. I’m pretty sure that wasn’t from sweat or a little water getting through the seals.
