I’ve had Gorilla tape on the wheel fenders of my rafting/kayaking trailer for 5 years and it’s still good. I use duct tape for some lighter weight applications, but Gorilla is my go to for heavier use stuff. I carry a small roll of Gorilla in all my kayak & raft repair kits.
