Long lines
If you are going to use long power leads make sure you use a heavy gauge wire. Long runs of light wire will cause a significant power drain.
Using ballast to offset the weight of the motor and battery may be a better option.
electric troling motor
Hi,
Has anyone ever used en electric troling motor on a kayak. I have a Folboat GII and would like to put one on the back, mounting it somehow on the rudder assembly mount. That way I could steer with my feet and have 2 hands to catch them there rainbows. any ideas??
