I was looking at your duo-tone faded gelcoat restore job. You suggest that its going bto fade soon anyway. Why do restored gelcoats fade again, if they are well cared for? I may be facing the choice of restoring a faded gelcoat or repainting it, when I hopefully get back my stolen kayak soon that was badly neglected for over 10 years. Repainting seems ,most likely to yield longer term results, buit also requires skill that I lack. Restoring requires brute dumb force, which I can provide, but I also don’t want to do it every couple of years.
