Regarding the 145…
Has anyone tried this model without a rudder? Considering an undeployed rudder is basically a stern sail, just wondering the impact of that aerodynamic on the tracking of the boat.
I am going to test one in the next week, rudderless. I will certainly let you know what I find. 
The issue is the shape of the entry
more than the windage at the stern.
Rudder Ready
I feel if the manufacturer advertises that a boat is Rudder Ready they’re trying to tell you something.

Squirrely doesn’t begin to cover it. I hated this boat and couldn’t wait to get back to dock. It was all over the place! Really wanted to love it because of how well the cockpit fit me but it was awful.
