Haha, oh that one. If memory serves that was a Nissan Altima that someone had stuck some generic Auto Zone portholes on. One of the other conditions of me getting the Land Cruiser was that I had to go and get it from his buddies body shop where it had been sitting for about the last 10 years. The picture of it next to the thoroughly thrashed Nissan was the place we extracted it from. Sitting next to it was a 1st generation Land Rover Discovery that I thought about asking the shop owner if he wanted hauled off too (traveled around Australia in a diesel one for a year, great truck, really enjoyed it).
But to keep this post somewhat paddling related, here’s the Contour carrying one of my canoes after the Rally.
