I was just about to edit my last message immediately above, to say if I knew the exact algorithm for cutting up the quads, I could calculate the corner coordinates.



I see now you did describe the math exactly, not just approximately. That means I can be exact about finding the quad for the location I want, too. You made that clear in the earlier post.

Geotiff support file for OziExplorer
I was just now looking under ‘optional extras’ on the left side bar on the main web page of Ozi http://www.oziexplorer.com/



They have a geotiff support file. Here’s the description. “The extra file to provide support for reading the calibration information from Geotiff map images is here ozigeotiff.zip. Unzip into the folder where OziExplorer is installed.” I’m hoping that will allow Ozi to read the calibration info in the twf file.



I’m at work now. I’ll try it tonight.
