re entry
If you have at least one other tandem canoe to help it’s not too hard. here’s what we taught our scouts, Have the other canoe pair lift your canoe over and across their canoe upside down and set it down on the other side right side up and empty. Then they put it alongside theirs, brace it, and you climb in on the opposite side. Using a tie down strap for a foot stirrup helps the climb in. I agree, solo entry is real hard.

Inflatable Boat
I don’t know how deep it is the farther out you go here, but where I was before it was waist-chest deep.
Last summer I bought an inflatable boat from walmart and took it out there, haha good times.
Old town sarnac, river rouge, guide
By the way, the 3 I am looking at are the Old Town Sarnac and Guide, new, or a River Rouge on craigslist. From what I have read, they seem to be stable canoes, at least as far as canoes go.
