The story I heard told from someone who was in a position to know, was that Bill Masters of Perception managed to get the rights to manufacture the Jeti from Vladamir Vanha in a swap or some type of business deal. He obtained the mold in order to kill the boat in the USA.
Vladamir later designed the Aeroquatic whitewater kayak (which Dagger manufactured as the AQ II for a number of years) and the somewhat smaller Stratoquatic.
