Paddle
Get a decent paddle. Our first boats were Keowee’s with the cheap paddles. There was a major difference in performance when I bought a good paddle.

If it’s possible, demo each boat for your own satisfaction. Another option is a Native Watercraft Manta Ray. Their tankwells have a greater storage area that you might find very useful in a short boat.
