The shot is at the remains of the Wager dam on the Grand River (Michigan). An entertaining little drop otherwise everything is pretty flat. The stretch that I towed it on was the Weber Dam pond. I think that it was a '70s slalom design that was better in current and needed a paddler that could keep it ‘Cab Forward’, and correct slightly even before he/she knew it needed it.
Charlie was glad to get back in his Seawind the next day.
