No this is not an x-rated product. Simply surfboard wax. Crayon it onto the grip areas, buff with cotton cloth until smooth. I find it allows me to grip the paddle more lightly, which reduces the pressure points. Never used gloves in temperate weather, don’t plan on starting.

Lot’s of same good advice
Loose grip, bicycle gloves. I bought my wife a nice pair of gloves from the Schwinn dealer. Best $20.00 I ever spent. She has been using them for 5 years now and every season when she first gets out I see her smile when she puts them on. Sweet!

my bad. wear gloves or something then. you should be able to get a pair of thin sailing gloves or a thin synthetic material that won’t be too hot in the summer.
