Caulking strip feedback?
Those that have tried this, did you find that it held on tight or wanted to bunch up, tear or peel off when paddled, pulled or dragged over various surfaces such as rocks, beaches or logs? In the bathroom it holds up quite well, but there it isn’t subjected to physical forces from it’s top side.

No first hand experience, but I wouldn't think it would last very long.
For a cheap short term solution that leaves options open for the future, I prefer small pieces of duct tape, applied exactly to the area that shows wear.

Opsrey Sea Kayak in Westport,Ma is one place I know that uses bed liners for keel strips. They can probably give you some more info.
