BEFORE LANCE, Bicycle Magazine offered a short column by STYLEMAN ..

STYLEMAN supplied suggestions on how to STYLE at the limits of coherence so as to underline over the road cyclists, serious cyclists were apart, above, superior to the man on the street, run of the mill humanity.

For good reason, most riders are poor uneducated and retarded .....in the limited view of John Q.

Kayakers, serious kayakers navigating, doing marine research, naming kayaks after WW2 line ships of the German Navy, wandering around the countryside with $5000 of expendable income gracing their MegaBuck transit equipment....should look the part. A PR Image of fighter pilots, cliff jumpers, Seals, capable experienced outdoor adventurers, retired surgeons and executives.

Not allowing the Tupperware crowd dilution of our image.

Extreme or Nomad
I am 225-230 lb. 6’ and 38" waist and 44" butt. The cockpit is 29" x 15.5" and I can get in. Also what is important is height of deck or really combing. Nomad is 13.75" high. Was looking for an HV model for another 3/4" in height. Not graceful getting in or out but I get it done without rolling in water or sand. Bit easier off floating dock than beach but it gets done. I do have to put pressure on the back deck and even put some non-skid boating material as pads to prevent my hands from slipping on wet deck size of my palms.

try using a thick flexible
brace material from bottom strut to coaming. Think and act with a solution in mind.

From the nautical area I live at there are several recycled slabs of minicell on the shelf but that’s $$$.

I dunno what would be a relatively solid replacement for an inflatable. Some type of water proof pillow.

Nor is the O’s cockpit size ? structural necessity.

I cudnah get muh foot in their.

Other folder options
Olex, have you taken a look at the Pakboat folders? If you were bummed the Oru didn’t fit you, and you’ve had experience with the Klepper, the Pakboat Puffins and XTs might be appealling and offer more volume, easier cockpit access and perhaps a bit better performance than the Airfusion.

Air Fusion
Thanks for the replay. I bought an Air Fusion Elite. It seemed light and does not occupy to much space when folded. Also potentially it might turn out to assemble fast when you have done it a couple of times. I think assembly time is a big drawback with foldables.

I have not yet had an opportunity to paddle it.
