Latex gaskets

Fine, don’t wait. I want the wide
contact area. I certainly have never “admitted” anything about stretching. I have always pointed out that it takes a while to do it properly.

you probably have a bigger neck than me
Never thought about it like that, but if you’d have to trim a fair bit, I could see stretching.

Good point, Rusty. The thinner gaskets
supplied by Kokatat and others in the “old days” would get to seeming very thin and fragile with long use. But they kept on sealing effectively until they finally tore.

Next time shop os systems
Where they have sized wrist and neck gaskets.

That definitely helps…
…but you need to order a larger size than their chart would indicate, both on neck and wrist seals. Even the XL neck seal needs considerable trimming to fit a size 17 neck.

“Admitted”, “stated”, whatever
There’s no point in arguing semantics. The bottom line is that stretching takes weeks and in my experience, there is no guarantee that it’s going to work even then. Trimming takes minutes and it works every time. The folks here can make their own informed choices.

ditto
you can even ask Kokatat to do it for you

"works every time"
it is possible to nick the gasket, have it later tear, etc.
