I took a Pelican mustang to Hammerman , lol…. Was the day I realized. Now I’m in 14.5 Dagger Stratos. Recently circled Miller Island. Definitely fun on the Bay side of the Island.
Hammerman is my tune up ride. It isn’t long but if there’s a breeze from the south, everything gets wild. My favorite course is into the wind. The bay has been choppy this year. Is your Pelican 10 or 12 ft. Saw your dagger specs. Thst should work around Hart-Miller. Haven’t done that in a while. You can launch free out of Rocky Point Sailing Center, and park in the lot before you have to pay. Set out for Rock Hall one day from there but got to the lighthouse because it seemed a bit gnarly. Have you gone to Fairlee Creek yet.
