I often wondered how feasible it would be to apply a new gel coat on the bottom, as I really do not wish to replace the boat. How do you suggest applying the new gel? I guess I usually think of that much gel being sprayed, but then that is also generally in a mold. Bristle brush, foam brush?
The solid color bottom would definitely be unique for a Bell boat, and would certainly look pretty sweet with the cherry trim. Someone from a distance might even mistake that two-tone for a Placid!
