I work a bit with Ti, and you can hold a piece to the grinder or sander and it will be red hot one inch from your hand…and it’s cool where you are holding it with bare hands… Definitely not conductive of heat!

Four season mix
There are two JetBoil fuels, the 4 season mix (has a snowflake on the bottle) works better at lower temps. I’ve used mine down to about 10F. I love the JetBoil system. I also have the big mug, the coffee press, and will debut the bigger pot this weekend. It is small and compact enough that I carry it on colder day trips for a warm lunch or to warm beverages in case someone is getting a little too hypothermic. My sister backpacks with hers and loves it. She is an MSR convert. I’ve never lit my MSR stove, I love the JetBoil so much.
