I took that quote about handling out of a paragraph from a review regarding moving water use, and I should have emphasized that the ALMOST was what made a difference to me. I figure I’m a good enough paddler to keep the Guide straight for the flatwater tinkering I do. One of my major concerns, and reason for starting this thread, was that the Guide would be “doggy” on flat water with a load, and wondered if there was an obviously better choice for a big ol’ boy like me.
You pointed me towards the Guide over the Odyssey many months ago- I’m still mulling over my decision between the others. Hope y’all have a GREAT time at Rendezvous, and hope to join you in the spring. Thanks again, Regan
