Looks like your photo didn’t come thru, Andy. Maybe resizing it would work.
Taking a screen shot automatically downsizes
If that helps anyone.
Search “reduce image size in kb”. As Rookie said there are a number of other free online sites to reduce a picture to a specific size. No need to download a program.
Of course most photo editing software has this option but it’s often not as intuitive.
In the previous example it may be the size of the file name that’s causing the problem. Try renaming it with no more than 8 characters not including .jpg.
I’m really glad to hear you’re getting back out on the water this weekend! It sounds like a wonderful chance to bond with your son and enjoy some time with your family in the Pocono house. I can’t imagine what you’ve been going through, but it’s so encouraging to see you holding on to hope with that new treatment. Just take your time out there and soak in those moments with your grandkids—those memories will mean the world.
Currently, if I sit, I need to plan how to get up. If I drop something, i can’t pick it up, unless it’s near to something that I can haul me back up. Walking is a slow process. I started with a cane now I am using a walker. It sucks getting old.
Sounds like me at times.
Not getting on the water this weekend. I did several weeks ago with a great deal of help.
I walk like a drunken sailor!
Oh, Andy, I wish I could wave a magic wand and make everything better for you.
Today I went Columbia med center in NY. A very good meeting with a doctor. Very thorough in his reading of my records and spoke us in simple terms that we could understand. We made this appointment several months ago and were determined to go. Have another appointment in February with several doctors.
Keep plugging at it Andy! I hope u have some good outcomes to your treatments and doctor appts.! Im not kayaking right now…sold most of my kayaks and am prepping to move across the pond…keeping my house and vehicle for now so we can come back to visit…its gorgeous here near Algonquin park! Keep us in the loop Andy!
You may never know how many people you have never met wish you well, but we exist. And those well-wishes follow you, on both the good days and the bad.
If you have never seen it, the online newsletter “Next Avenue” has some good writing, about making the most out of both what is, and what we wish for, out of the process of becoming a “vintage human”. And even some on dealing with the diagnoses we all could damn well do without!
Thank you for letting us know you had a good day with the doctor, and I wish you even better days without one!
Thanks all for the thoughts and aspirations. My life has been an extraordinary one. Born in Germany of a Polish father and a German mother. Both long gone. At the age of 2 we immigrated to Canada, Sudbury. We had a 6 year waiting list to come to the USA. I grew up in Bloomfield NJ and went to school in the local schools. Graduated from college and met my future wife. We had two kids that are doing great.
We have traveled quite a bit, been to England 5 times, Italy, France, Germany, Poland, Belgium, and Holland. Also been to Hawaii twice and next year an Alaska cruise. And going to the Christmas show at Radio City in NY.
Good to see u r still at it Andy! Im getting pummeled with snow right now! No kayaking up here! We had 4 feet south of here! Its snowing from 6am to midnight today…i may not be able to get out of my roadway…may need to call the OPP to get the bankrupt owners to plow…hope u guys have an awesome Christmas and best wishes in the new year!.

Rockettes were awesome. Grandkids loved the show.!
Dear Andy
I hope you have a wonderful paddle! ALS is a cruel disease and I hope you can get into a trial as soon as possible. Please let us know how things are going for you.
Yeah Andy!
Once you are in the kayak, all is BLISS! I know - I have broken my back twice lifting patients, and now I am retired but have trouble lifting. Friends can help and then WONDERFUL paddle for as long as we can go! Do not give up!
Your boat is beautiful. I hope to see you in it again one day soon.
