But you are close.
My doctor called And told m that i will be included in phase 3 spg302 trial.
That’s wonderful, Andy! Praying it turns out to be your miracle drug!
Now, not only are you close, YOU ARE IN.
Congratulations
Keep your health up and attitude and take full advantage of it. Your hustling paid off, now make this pay off.
It beats dieing!
I would say so.
Good Luck
Do you know what swung you getting accepted, you didn’t seem optimistic.
Great news!
So pleased for you! The process is a marathon, not a sprint, for sure - always good to celebrate the positive moments. You deserve every one of them!
I like to believe that hope is contagious; whether it changes the outcome, I do not know. But that it changes the journey is certain.
It is a marathon.THanks for the kind words.
Andy, I’m sorry not to have posted to this thread earlier, but have had trouble posting to this site for many months now.
I’m glad to hear of your acceptance to the trial and hope that your quality of life as well as longevity is extended by it , in the best of all possible worlds, indefinitely. I’ve always enjoyed your posts, trip accounts and, especially your photos. You are a fellow I would have liked to have paddled with, though our physical locations have prevented this.
I wish you noting but the best. BTW, you did one heck of a nice job with that Summersong restoration. Hope the treatment allows you to recover so you get to use it for years to come. Best to you my Pnet friend.
Thanks PJC
Went to Columbia med center in NY. The meeting and to doctors were great in answering our questions. I Felt great after all the. Meetings
Great to hear Andy! I know its late but happy New Year! I turned SEVENTY yesterday! Woohoo! I never thought I’d make it this far! My mom passed away at 59…i have gone beyond her age!
Im just happy that we’re still here! And able to paddle or not…our choice! Im selling my citibot folbot to a friend when he can make it here…he better come to pick it up soon…spring is around the corner i think!
My tiny house in the snow!
Sure hope there’s a continuation of such good news, Andy!
And happy belated birthday to @lindabaron
The paw pad is about an inch and a half across…but those claws!
I believe it is something like a rabbit or cotton rat (It’s hard to tell the size of the tracks in the picture) that often hop instead of walk. Their back feet and long lower leg come down where the front feet had been.
Here is another ALS treatment in the news.
“Soon after her diagnosis, Green learned about a clinical trial at Mass General for an experimental drug — QALSODY® (tofersen), which is made by Biogen in Cambridge, Massachusetts.”
