Hope it’s not to late to put my two cents in. Here"s what I have and I am very happy with it. I own two dico 169. Have had them since the early 90’s . Lastear I change the plastic seats to web Great improvment. Now I can change the canoe around and paddle from the front seat when I have a lighter and smaller person on the front . I also have the snap in seat that didnot fit real well for leg room .So I drop the center yoke 3 1/2 " and the snap sits nicely on top of it which works well when I go by myself. Did this to both canoes and this last year even got my wife to go solo with me. She found out she likes being captian of her own ship. She also does stern when we take beginers out . I hope this helps gave you some ideas of what you may do with whichever canoe you decide on. And yes you will be looking for a second canoe sooner than you think . Good luck and great paddling.
