Sylvania Wilderness
I agree that Sylvania Wilderness is a great place to go. It’s about 18,000 acres in size. Campsites are limited to 5 people, but many sites are two sites near each other. If your group size is larger than 5 you will need to reserve two sites. If you are looking for solitude you should ask for sites that are just a single site. Also, a number of sites can be accessed by hikers. This is especially true on Clark Lake. Once again, if you are looking for privacy, choose a lake other than Clark to camp on.
