Well, at least you have a diagnosis and they found something to address surgically. Hopefully the surgery and recovery will be somewhat less involved than a total joint replacement, although I am told that total shoulder arthroplasty has made enormous strides in the last decade or so.
Right now he can’t camp as he can’t sleep, we tried going to Montauk for Memorial weekend and he stayed one night and went home, he can only sleep in the recliner and after the surgery that is where he will be as well. We’ll have to see how he is doing in October when Rendezvous comes around.
Dang - this doesn’t sound good at all. Rod is so active, this will be especially trying for him… Is there anything I can do to help? Need some books to read or something?
