Funny you would say that John. The GL paddle I broke was made as a 2 piece so I made a new half and I am going out with it tomorrow.
But the broken parts DID go into my wood stove.
I typically watch for the minute to change. I know my cadence is over 60, so that’s when I start watching for the minute to roll over. Speed just helps you assess which technique or paddle is better.
