The conditions are pretty incremental. The only reason they seem more so is that there are limited opportunities to find 5 star conditions on either coast of the US.
The jump I was talking about is the syllabus - 5 star has a huge leadership and group dynamic component. That has been pretty lacking from the 4 star.
